This is a laboratory course providing an understanding of structure and function of living things. It examines individuals and populations, ecosystems, animals, diversity, classification, anatomy, physiology, microorganisms, cells, reproduction, genetics, heredity, and evolution. Emphasis is placed upon the development of scientific methods and attitudes through observation, experimentation, and class discussions.
